Three and a half long years have passed since Great East Japan earthquake, and although the people of the area are gradually putting it behind them, the children of Fukushima are still unable to play outside.
We want to help from New Zealand in any way that we can, and as part of this desire, we are organising a movie screening for charity. All proceeds are donated to Earthwalkers, an NPO organising recreational programs to support the health and well-being of the children of Fukushima.
"The children live with anxiety and cannot do things that other children take for granted, so we want to keep supporting them and return their smiles to their faces," says Naoya Kodama, the director of Earthwalkers.
We want to help him with his intention.
The movie is in Japanese with English subtitles.

■ Plot: This is the story of an idyllic town surrounded by nature that is suddenly affected by the nuclear power plant disaster. The movie depicts the bonds between the members of one family who are inevitably drawn into the disaster. だんだんと過去のこととして捉えられてきているなか、
福島の子どもたちはいまだ外遊びがなかなかできない状況にあります。
ここ自然豊かなニュージーランドから私たちにできることをやっていこうという想いでこの度、チャリティ映画上映会を企画致しました。
収益金は全て福島の子どもたちの保養活動を行っている
